MAKING A CONTRACT WITH US

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. We will not take payment until we have accepted your order.
Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will request payment from your card. At this point in time we will have accepted your order and a contract is formed between us.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this - in this case, we will not take a payment for your order, and there will be no contract between us.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

Placing an order with us is an easy process.
1. Add items to your basket by navigating our website and choosing your desired quantity and clicking 'Add to Basket' at the bottom of each product page. If there is no 'Add to Basket' option, then that particular product is not currently available.
Alternatively, if you are only ordering one item, then you can click the orange 'Buy Now' button at the bottom of the product page. This takes you directly to the payment page.
2. If you are not already on the payment page, you may click the 'View Basket / Checkout' logo at the top right of the screen. This displays your basket, and by clicking 'Order Now' you will be taken to our payment pages.
3. Proceed through the checkout stages supplying the necessary information. Always ensure that when you are inputting information on our payment screens that you have the secure padlock symbol present, as we use encryption to keep your details safe. At any point in the secure checkout process you can use your browsers 'back' button to correct any mistakes.
4. Upon completion (by pressing 'Submit Order') all information will be transmitted to us securely and you will receive an email confirmation of order. We will contact you further if there is a problem with your order.
 

DELIVERY

Items delivered within the UK and Northern Ireland:

Shipping costs will be shown on the checkout page.

EEC including Ireland (We will quote you depending on weight of package)
Europe (Outside of EEC) (We will quote you depending on weight of package)
Outside Europe (We will quote you depending on weight of package)

Insurance:
All items shipped are covered by transit insurance.

Items out of stock at time of order:
We will inform you of items not in stock at the time of order and expect a maximum wait of 10 to 14 days from time of order. If we expect items to be out of stock for longer than this we offer you the option to cancel without charge.

Delivery Times
UK deliveries = Usually 5-7 working days Via Courier or Royal Mail
Europe = Usually 10-14 working days - Via Courier or Airmail
Worldwide = up to 21 working days - Air Mail

NB: Delivery times are approximate and may change without notice. We reserve the right to increase delivery charges as necessary, however we will inform you of such changes and offer you the option to cancel your order without charge.

Lost/Delayed Items
Please note, that our delivery times above are estimates and most deliveries are made within the above timescales.
Unfortunately, items can get lost or delayed whilst in the care of the postal system. This is out of our control, however any delayed items generally show up within a few days.
UK Deliveries: If your item is delayed in the postal system, we cannot investigate the non arrival until 15 working days from the date of despatch have elapsed. From this point, any delayed items are officially classed as lost.
Non-UK deliveries: If your item is delayed in the postal system, we cannot investigate the non arrival until 25 working days from the date of despatch have elapsed. From this point, any delayed items are officially classed as lost.

Undeliverable Items
If an item sent by us is undeliverable (e.g. no one is in to sign for the item) a 'While you were out' card will be left by Royal Mail, Initial CityLink, or ANC.
In the case of a Royal Mail card, you will have up to one week to arrange re-delivery or collection. After this, the item will be returned to us free of charge but will incur a 5% of order total handling fee, plus redelivery fees chargeable to you.
In the case of a Citylink or ANC card, your item will be kept at your nearest depot for five days for you to arrange re-delivery or collection (please use the contact number on the card). After this, the item will be returned to us and will incur a return fee (minimum £5, maximum £25, based on weight), a handling fee of 5% of order total, plus redelivery fees chargeable to you.

WARRANTY & RETURNS

Warranty period on all items: 1yr unless otherwise stated. To return a faulty item to us within the guarantee period, please contact us first to obtain a returns number. We will then instruct you on how to return the item.

7 day cancellation period (non-faulty returns):
You are covered by Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 when you purchase items from us - this entitles you to return the items to us for a refund. To take advantage of this, you must notify us within 7 working days of the day after you receive the goods. This must be in writing (either email or fax is acceptable). Cancellation requests by telephone are not valid and not accepted.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you are allowed to open the item to inspect the goods, but not use them. You have a statutory duty of care of the goods whilst in your posession. If you have not exercised this duty of care (e.g. (but not exhaustive) you have used the item, unnecessarily/excessively damaged the packaging, or not packaged the item(s) adequately for delivery) then we will charge you for the reduction in value of the goods and any administration costs incurred.

In exceptional circumstances (for example, big button remote controls) we may accept a used non-faulty return for refund, minus a 10% restocking fee (note, that this must be within the DSR cancellation period). These returns need to be approved by us and a returns number obtained before sending them back.

When sending items back, ensure they are well packed and obtain adequate proof/insurance against lost or damaged items. It is advised to include a copy of your original order confirmation for us to track your return effectively. You must bear the cost of postage and packaging when sending an item back to us. If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection.
